My chicks are now 8 week old, mama has begun to start laying eggs again. i need to build them a bigger nesting box, they cant all fit and its fun to see them try- guppy guy

update on chicks, mom is doing a great job, i saw yesterday 4 of the chicks sitting on her back, they are able to get into the coop on there own and i leave the door open for them, they are just getting out of the weird fethering stadge- guppy guy

so last night, 4 of my chicks went up into the coop with mom, we still had to put the other 4 up but they are learning, and today i saw my 1 1/2 week old chicks dust baiting, so it is cool how mom teaches them how to be a chicken and do chicken things, i love this experience so much.- guppy guy

mom and chicks are well they are about a week old now and americanas have gotten almost all there wing feathering and a little bit of tail, but the marans are still getting wing feathering, babies still haven't made it up the ramp, ugh, i have to keep moving them- guppy guy

she didn't seam smashed, but her neck was very flimsy for being dead, the other one was very stiff, so i think that is what happend. but she also had alot of stuff stuck to her butt.- guppy guy
