I never figured out what exactly it was. He(learned he was a rooster a little while ago) did heal from it, thankfully. My best guess is that he strained his leg. I gave him liquid vitamin B mixed in a small handfull of his food every night for a month or so to see if that would help, and now he...
I hope so. We're going to set her up in a different cage today to help keep her from hurting herself more and I'm giving her vitamin B every day, so fingers crossed.
Her claws aren't curling into her feet, and I don't think her toes are curling, it's just the way she was holding her feet. Her middle toe on her left foot kind of has an odd kink in it, but it doesn't seem to be affecting her, since she's putting most of her weight on her left foot. I'll have...
Here are some pics of her foot, and this is the link to a video of her walking.

I think she was always a bit wobbly before she got lice, then we took her to the vet the first time to get her beak looked at, and afterwards it looked like maybe she got a bit more wobbly, so I was worried that maybe she had slipped in the cage. Then we took her to the vet again this week to...
No, I don't think she has scaly leg mites. This was also our first dealing with lice. I was busy trying to keep the mites off her, her sister, and their mom, since our adult birds had them this summer, when the lice just kind of popped up out of nowhere. I'll also check her scales again tomorrow...
I don't know if this could play into it, but she also just got over a really bad lice infestation that took us weeks to get rid of. Figured I should mention that too just in case.
I'll try to get a video too. The extra toes thing is just because she's a silkie. Silkies have extra toes, hers are just a little different from a normal silkie's. Her crop hasn't been emptying at all. She's been maintaining a healthy weight and every day her crop has felt nice and full.
