Anyone keep quail outdoors in cold weather climates?
My Californian and Gambel quail have been doing absolutely fine outdoors, they do have cover from the rain as well as places to stay out the wind. We also have a male Californian and male CP living indoors as they're disabled. -

I have a CP male, he used to live outside in an aviary until i noticed he had a head injury, but he also has a eye deformity now, his left eye used to be fine but now its tiny and most likely blind in it. Any who this was in the summer and hea lived inside since, but he always has feathers... -

Sold three quail, now all have died
Yes all our flock are absolutely fine, he is now demanding for half his money back. My partner isn't best pleased as we care for our quail and wish we hadn't sold them now as they'd still be alive with us.- Hanwombat

My partner sold two female Californian and one male Californian quail over a week ago, all have been living outside, eating well etc good weights.
