Hopefully housebreaking will not be like Havoc who up til 4 months came in every morning (after pooping outside) to do it again right in front of the door, and instead will be like Baxter and Iris who almost seemed to come to me already housebroke! The breeder has already started working w/...

How much is that doggie in the window?

Many of the things listed are not necessary. A bed depends on how you keep your dog, I do think they need a soft spot to sleep (and I am assuming indoor dog), but some, especially small dogs are allow on furniture, my little dog has never had her own bed. I don't use a pet carrier for my dog...

What kind of goats are these?

Yoda, what did the vet find when you took them in? The 'bulge' under the chin looks like a small beard to me, not bottlejaw, but can't really be sure from the pic, just currious what they found. They do look like nigerians, very pretty girls!

    Breeding goats

The moms being skitish can make it more challanging, but they can still be tamed. When I was breeding I would keep my does and kids in a stall, and spend lots of time sitting w/ them, kids are naturally currious and will be all over you, once you find that sweet itchy spot they're all yours! All...

    Breeding goats

If they are good sized they should be fine to breed now. However I wanted to mention you don't have to bottle feed to make them friendly, clearly their breeder didn't do their part to make them friendly. Personally I liked to bottle raise my keepers, just because I really enjoyed it, but you...

~*~Weimaraner and Great Dane Official Club!~*~

Thank you teach1rusl, your boy is quite the looker to! I'll have me a blue someday! Personally I think there are pros and cons to both natural and cropped, I've found the cropped ears to be alot harder to keep clean, Havoc always had gross black gunk in his ears, on the other hand Iris had to...

I had a weimaraner lab mix once, but couldn't find any pics, however, here are my dane pics! First my current dane Iris! Turned 9 years young last month, And danes from the past, Havoc (possibly the last pic I have of him) And Baxter, (such a cute baby) Annnnd Hannah, who I only had...

North Carolina ban to Kill Numerous Breeds

What I'd like to know is who is identifying these dogs as pits? I've become abit skeptical w/ the numerous articles I've seen claiming 'pit bull attack' only to see a pic of a different breed, I for sure don't believe them w/out a pic proving it's a pit and not a shepherd mix (as one was very...

    Guess the Breed--Horse!

A bay or roan is not a true tricolor pinto, 'true' tricolors are quite rare, like this guy. That second pic would also classify as a tricolor. Brindle horses are also generally chimeric.

    Guess the Breed--Horse!

The strange part is that it's a tricolored pinto, red in front, black in back.

    My new kittens!

I think it can be really hard to tell. My Omen ended up w/ medium hair, and we have one now that also suprised me by being medium haired. I got my sister a very fluffy kitten this Spring, assuming he'd be long haired, he's only around 6 months old now, but I think he's going to be medium haired...
