    Love the chick, she is adorable! :love Her head is abnormally 'vulture-like' but it seems like a natural wonkieness.

    Sad to hear about your chickens :( I personally don't know what exactly happened, But They Could have eaten pesticide because the symptoms sounded neurological. I don't think it is too normal to just have chickens Die at a young age.

    Use metal clips instead of zip ties if you really want it to be fully secure.

    Heavier than normal fall molt predicted hard winter?

    Just got a reply over email, They said the molting this winter was light to medium, and the eggs production was normal (18 eggs a day). They live In Vernon Arizona.

    I don't have any chickens yet, so I asked my grandpa and grandma-in law (who have chickens) if they Had a heavy molt and egg production drop, now I'm just waiting for them to reply over text message. :)
