I built my own. The only thing I bought was a curtain opener motor (about 70-80 dollars new) and a timer. The I just cut a door out of wood and put it between 2 grooved pieces of wood attached a string to it and fed it through the opener and out a weight equal to the door weight on the other...

Thanks everyone!!!!!! am new at this and at this forum. Great help! what is salve or bag balm to treat her with ???? is that medicated? Is it like vaseline? ... and the poop spot is larger than you think! will it bleed if I pull it off? it looks like it is stuck to skin.

I have 22 chickens and one, a rhode island red has poop stuck all around her bottom, the others are fine. What do I do? New to this site. Hope the upload of my picture works.

I have a similar problem there is poop stuck over my chickens bottom... anyone have any idea what to do? Only one of my 22 chickens has that problem.
