YAY!!! I️ forgot to post about mine last week. Here are 2 of them, both are very healthy. #1 has been unable to walk and was really weak, but I️ have had her on vitamin water. She’s starting to get better at moving around. #4 is not doing great right now but I’m hoping with time and vitamins it...
It’s good to be invested! I’ve read that they can hatch as late as day 26. Up until 2 days ago I️ thought it took them an average of 21 days to hatch not 22-23 😂
Hi! All the research I️ did resulted in basically no info on levels of humidity. I️ kept them around 49% but it ranged from 45-55% right now the humidity is in the 70s for lockdown. I’m not sure what is considered a dry hatch, but much dryer than with my chickens.
I️ am currently in lock down with 4 California quail eggs. Last night 2 pipped, I’m still waiting for babies. Today is day 22, I️ really hope they are healthy and I️ can keep them alive 😅
Hi, I’m hatching California quail eggs and was wondering when the normal day to hatch on is (given perfect eggs/environment). I️ also was wondering when am I️ supposed to put the eggs in lockdown?
