That is really frightening. It makes me want to stay away from sites like this and people like that. Who else knows what a kook like that will do? This person sounds capable of anything. Irrational people are scary.

and sometimes you remove yourself from the situation so you don't completely ruin the friendship till someone comes and makes things worse?!
consider that maybe your friend knew nothing about what their friend was doing.
I guess what I don't understand is if you consider someone a friend, you can't accept their point of view when it differs from yours. Just accept people the way they are, even when you don't agree with them. Not everyone is always going to see things your way. There is no point in getting angry...
Personally, I would not unfriend someone because of a post on Facebook. My friends are all opinionated and outspoken, with diverse points of view. I am mature enough to handle that, so I wouldn't unfriend someone for saying things I don't like.
But that's just me.
All I can say to you Chickened, is that I was far lonlier being married than I have ever been single. Single does not equal lonely.
You clearly have a great relationship; not everyone does. Should I have allowed myself to become a punching bag for my alcoholic husband in the interest of being...

To me it's probably just an aesthetic thing, but the idea of an adolescent boy- or girl for that mattter- latching onto mommy's breast makes me queasy. Clearly, at some age it is no longer appropriate. I am not saying the age is 2, or that we need laws to determine the age, but to make...
While I think there should be an age when breastfeeding stops, I agree that we don't need laws banning it. There are so many other things our lawmakers could be focusing on.
