I just noticed my bronze turkey hen has a prolapse. I cleaned it off and tried to put it back without any luck. She keeps pushing and I can see and feel the tip of an egg. What can I do to get her to lay the egg and get the prolapse back in?!? Any suggestions would be helpful.. very worried...
I try to keep the girls in the coop to lay in their nest boxes until afternoon. I have turkeys that free range and they like to step on the eggs and eat them.

One of my white leghorns will only lay her eggs in the hubby's truck. If he rolls the windows up where she cant get in there, she wont lay. Besides clipping their wings and locking them in the coop until afternoon, what else can I do to deter her from only laying in the truck?
Not in a cold climate. I'm in Texas. lol I take it they are a cold hardy breed. Does anyone know when the orloff's start laying? So far I have one leghorn laying regularly 11 more to go :)
Ok.. I looked up some photos of the Russian Orloff and that's what they look like they could be. I purchased them at the local farm store with my RIR's & leghorns. Thank you for your input. :) The lady at the store said they were speckled Sussex but they didn't look like it to me.
