I will look at her ears more closely. I treated them with poultry dust. And yes, her crop seemed empty this morning.
I have those supplements on hand and will give them to her throughout the day. Thanks.
My 3.5 year old silkie (and the flock) had lice but she was in the worst shape. I brought her inside, treated the lice, and will treat again for anything that has hatched since.
After the lice where dead she perked up quite a bit but isn’t eating and seems to have a tic or something. I fed her...
The bird on the top is a rooster, obviously. I got the other one at the same time as the rooster when they were a few days old. They’re now about five months old. I feel like I’m losing my mind because the bottom one is crowing. It never starts the crowing, but once the rooster starts it will...
Thanks for your reply. I gave her the tums and she’s had some food and water. It seems like she has diarrhea or at least really loose poo. It’s slowly coming out.

Hello! I found my 1.5 year old silkie will a poo butt this morning. I soaked her for 15 minutes and cleaned her up. I don’t think she’s egg bound, I used a lubed finger to feel for an egg and didn’t find anything. Her belly feels soft so I don’t think she’s constipated...
I’ve been watching her pretty closely. Her breathing is normal...no rattling. Eyes are clear.
Is there any way to check for worms? Or do I just treat her with a de-wormer?
I’ve given three doses of the vitamins. She is still doing the neck stretching but it seems like it’s only when she first comes out of the coop in the morning. This morning she was also shaking her head and scratching it. She’s still eating and drinking normally.
She had a big poo this morning...
About five or six days ago we thought that our silkie went broody for the first time. She spent two days in the nesting box (coming out for food) but then starting acting pretty normal. She hasn't laid an egg in about a week. She's maybe acting a little lethargic, but nothing too noticeable...
