    Just got this bird today. I'm not sure if it's male or female. Also I don't know what kind of bird it is. I was told it's a black Orpington rooster. I'm not so sure if it's a rooster.

    What do you suggest for bedding in a nesting box? Hay, straw or shavings? Or something else. I'm trying to figure out which one to set in the nesting boxes that will be comfortable for my hens. Thanks for your help.

    The outside is 8x22 and the coop is 7 1/2x 8 1/2. I think it's big enough. What do you think.

    I have four six week old chicks and 11 nine week old chicks. Can I put them together inn the coop? Would the bigger ones pick on them? Thanks in advance for your help.
