What color are the bottoms of his feet? He looks like he could be a pure Black Australorp or Black Orpington (white bottoms). If he has yellow bottoms to the feet, he could be a Jersey Giant.

Definitely not a Black Jersey Giant. He's either a Black Australorp (most likely given how common they are in the US) or a Black Orpington.
