    These are silver laced wyandottes. They are about 6 weeks old, I am pretty sure one is a rooster but I wanted to get some other opinions!

    . Bought as an Aracauna pullet, she is about 8 weeks but I am suspicious if she is really a "he". She isn't aggressive and is one of the more shy chickens. The curved tail is really throwing me off.

    I noticed today that one of my Easter eggers is missing a patch of feathers on her back. What would cause this? And should I be worried and take any actions? I have never owned chickens before.

    First time chicken raiser!

    Just to update everyone on my sick chick, I went to southern states on Monday and got some probiotic supplement and some liquid antibacterial supplement that they suggested. I have been adding it both to their water as directed and she is doing much MUCH better! I have also not seen anymore...

    Oh no that doesn't sound good. Yes they are on the medicated feed, our southern states is closed this evening but I can make it there first thing in the morning. I haven't noticed any diarrhea but their stools do look a little different than usual. A little more runny than usual. How could this...
