Male or female? About 8 weeks old, the tail looks suspicious

. Bought as an Aracauna pullet, she is about 8 weeks but I am suspicious if she is really a "he". She isn't aggressive and is one of the more shy chickens. The curved tail is really throwing me off.

Having stared at the photo a bit longer - it appears there is some rusty spotting at the top of the wing/back, can you get a better picture with a bit more lighting?

I was concerned about her at one point (about the 8-10 week range, which is when this picture was taken), but she is all girl.

I have noticed some rusty areas on the wings myself...that's a bad sign isn't it

I'm think you have an EE cockerel. Those red spots on the wings make me nervous
