    My chickens lay their eggs throughout the day. Because she is a broiler mix, I have 2 of them of which Bessie is one and their eggs are a pale whitish tan color. Belle my other One has laid her egg already when Bessie in in nesting box.

    I have a hen that I think is a mixed breed broiler and golden comet. Her 1st year and a half, she would pretend to lay an egg and sing the egg song. She did not lay her first egg until about a year a half old. Once a year after, usually, 2-3 eggs two-three days in a row. She is 4 years old now...

    We have 2 Banty roosters, one of them needs their spurs cut real bad. The nearest Chicken Veterinary clinic is 200 miles away. I have found videos on "how to" for large roosters, not for these little guys. Ideas?

    White lines on eggs shells

    I am getting white lines on my eggs. I have Golden Comet chickens. They do not appear to be calcium. I have attached a picture. I have only had chickens a little over a year. I never had these white lines until I got my newest 7 girls.
