Pretty inexpensive

I have found recently that pinwheels have helped my girls stay out of my flower beds!!

My layers have been doing this too!! Yesterday they switched nests

I got 13 out of 13 yesterday!! I was soo eggcited for my girls!!

South, west, east or north?

I got 10 out of 13 pullets/hens, I have gotten a dozen a couple of times. Thank goodness the weather has warmed up here in South Dakota!!

He’s good he just lost the beautiful comb!! He’s good otherwise!! That cold spell was brutal!! Really nothing new for South Dakota though. This is my first winter with my chickens. I’ve had them before just not where I live now!!

I did know it wouldn’t grow back and most of the black has fallen off!! It’s just so sad that he lost the top! I really wasn’t looking for advise I was just mentioning how cold it had been here and some of the experiences we’ve had!!

Dang it hit every where. I’m in South Dakota and we had the same weather!! The girls ans boys didn’t like it either and have also been exposed really bad on one of my roosters!!
