They are both new at this. You can tell they're first timers, they are not very good a knowing what to do. Do you think that will increase or decrease my chances of success?

Update: thought I would share and say thanks for all the advice. Kept him warm last night and put him under momma about 6 this morning. Little guy is still alive and seems to be well. Hoping he's up on his own tomorrow.
I think I see the little "tooth" . I'm not sure it the lamp and or thermometer I'm using are up to snuff...is a heating pad on the lowest setting (warm is below low) OK...I didn't want to try without asking thanks again

I was going to do that but the momma hurt her foot today and she's hopping. The first attempt at getting back on the nest was awkward and clumsy. I was afraid she would step on it trying yo get situated.
