    We are broken-hearted this morning. One of our chickens crowed. This is our first time with backyard chickens so we didn’t realize he was a rooster until now. Our town does not allow roosters, and we must find a home for him I’m looking for someone in the southern Illinois area who would help...

    Friendly’s failed adventure.

    When I opened the door to the run this morning Friendly,(aka failed escapee),decided she was going to explore the yard! Luckily, she went around the back of the cage and I was able to catch her. I’d probably still be chasing her if she’d headed out towards the street.
