    Hi thanks for the quick response, the pip is actually fairly big it's just I've been worried because theirs not been any sound or movement as far as I'm aware. I would also like to say that the humidity is at a constant 71% and the temp is perfect.

    My quail layed 4 days ago for the first time. She is 5 months old now and it is summer in the U.K. So she has ideal conditions. She has been building a nest in hay but hasn't layed in it. Should I be worried that she hasn't layed again?.
