    That is really nice, we just added new chicken nests to our coop for the winter from large round food grade plastic tubs filled them with shavings shelfed them so neatly two rows started at about a foot off the ground. The chickens have no desire to sleep in there they still sleep in a huddle...

    To give you a layout of his life thus far or ours. Me and my kid hatched a bunch of rare ebay eggs from prime breeders bought a few chicks of rare breeds as well. We have chickens of various ages the oldest separated from the teenagers and him the baby now about 4 months old a few months...

    I live in a rural area so we have more feed stores than we have places to buy food for humans.. thanks I am sure there is something going on, I just have to do every preventive I can think of.. I just got home from picking up my 10 yr old from school and it is just so funny seeing the baby...

    She does not have big congregations of insects on her though like I saw in some internet pix, she is practically completely bald so her skin is easy to look at. unless the flaky skin has insects that are white that I can not see... she is dandruffy.

    Worming would not hurt, what insectide should young babies be wormed with. And thank you for responding. I have some high protien dry cat food, could I crush that up and give it to her or should it be canned for digestion sake?

    she is 4 months old now, she was in a batch of eggs several were fertile and never hatched - 3 hatched but two died while in incubator underdeveloped. I am not sure if I can tell if she has bugs as she has been bald for a few weeks since she lost her fuzzie hair and she gets to run around...

    I just posted on that thread and read your articles u posted, I do not see any mites on her naked skin but I do have seven dust. Seven dust for the garden will not poison her? is it safe to put on her bare skin?

    any updates on this problem as I have a 50 percent english hatched from a ebay egg, only survivor of three born and several that did not hatch at all with same issue... friendly outgoing, eats follows me around like a puppy sleeps with a light on and three fluffy silkies to keep her naked lil...
