    I'm sorry it has taken awhile to respond to your question. I didn't see your post. Here are some photos of Ruby as a chick. She had partridge markings as a chick and no red color. She is the light on on the left in first photo.

    Jazz is 11 weeks old and is a mix of Jubilee Orpington roo and Easter Egger hen. Some days I think cockerel and others pullet. Thank you for your help. Parents

    Thank you for your replies. I sure hope this is a pullet. We had 4 chicks to hatch from our flock. Same Jubilee roo but different breeds of hens. The other 3 I think may be cockerels but haven't taken photos to post.

    I would guess make because of comb and the way the feathers on head seem to be laying towards the back.
