out of the 20, 3 hatched. I did purt a rag in the box, shortly after taking this pic. and paper strips from my shredder. I installed a heat lamp as well, and a feeder and a water bottle. (I've hatched quail eggs before) the three hatchlings are doing fine. Thanks for the replies!

Well a few weeks ago, I bought 6 guineas off of a neighbor. he threw in 20 eggs. I put them in the incubator, and about 15 minutes ago, the first one hatched. my first question is what do I feed this critter? can I put a small jar feeder in the box with some all flock feed in it? or should I...
In an earlier post I ask if the guineas would accept the keets I hatch out in my incubator. and the answer is no. SO the six Guineas I purchased have laid about 8 eggs now. My question is, if and when these hatch, do I need to remove the keets ir will there natural "parents" tkae care of them?

The temp in my Hovabator was at 100 even. and the humidity at 60. I lowered the temp and it dropped to 97. so I raised it again this morning, but not to its original setting.hopefully to 99degrees.How important is 1 or 2 degrees difference? How would I go about lowering the humidity? Its been...
Not to hi jack this thread, but I just placed 20 guinea eggs in my hovabator. what should the humidity be maintained at, (if possible) and should I wet the sponge and add water to the bottom of the incubator. it does have an egg turner in it as well.
Thanks, and excuse me just jumping in here.

I have heard the you can put a pin hole in an egg and this will allow you to freeze it. Is this true? and if so, How do you get the pin hole in it? with out craking the shell.
