So general pictures are to be posted in the forums. And the member articles are used to - what? I'm afraid I'm struggling to understand. But I'll keep from posting articles for a while and I guess in time I will get it. Sometimes all it takes is little time.
Well, as I'm new here I don't know all the details on how things are supposed to work.

One week today. They are getting hard to get group photos of so here an assorted number of chickens. The big black one is the cutie from the other post.

This gorgeous little fellow was hatched last week and the photo is taken when moving from the hatcher to their nest. It's the first chick from my own chickens. He/she is a black copper maran and is growing like they always are.
I have a good hatcher, borrowed from a friend. It's a Brinsea, but the economy model. So I have turned the eggs and kept the water at the right leven according to the instructions. But something happened. Only seven of the 25 eggs managed to hatch even though almost all of them were fully...
They have, but something went wrong and only seven chicks of the 25 eggs managed to hatch. For some reason they were developed but didn't hatch. I followed the instructions for the hatcher. I suspect it was not humid enough. I will buy another hatcher that are fully automatic before I hatch...
They were due to hatch on Tuesday I thought. But I had miscalculated (as usual) so I thought they were due today. The wait, the despair.

Are there really anything above ten that needs to be counted? I mean, after ten it is sufficient to say "quite enough of chickens". In Swedish we have this magic word "lagom" - to have a 'lagom' amount of chickens would mean that you have just as many as you need. No more, no less. I think I...
