I have a hen with the same thing. She’s been like this for months. Angry red skin BUT we don’t have roosters. I don’t know what the heck is going on but she acts totally healthy and happy.

This cool duck showed up at my house this week. None of the neighbors have claimed it so far so I’m going to keep it. I’m guessing a female Muscovy but thought I’d get some feedback from you all.

Well, I initially did it for eggs, got turkeys to put in the freezer, and ducks for entertainment. I never thought I would enjoy them this much. The turkeys are not for food anymore, they LOVE me and I love them :lol:

I have a bronze turkey, also 8 months old, that wouldn't get up one day. I kept him isolated for a couple days so the others wouldn't bother him and he's doing fine now. :idunno

Earl, the pekin, is in isolation right now and will be there until he heals. At this time, I think he will be okay. I don't want to get rid of any of them and I plan on getting females this Spring.
