Hello All,

You can call me Jellyfish. I am still new to owning poultry. I got all my birds last Spring as babies. I have 14 hens (5 silver laced wynadottes, 6 speckled sussex, and 3 cuckoo marans), 4 turkeys (2 male 2 female) and 3 male ducks (2 indian runners and a pekin). I never in a million years thought I would enjoy them as much as I do. I joined this group because I always have new questions about them.

Well, I initially did it for eggs, got turkeys to put in the freezer, and ducks for entertainment. I never thought I would enjoy them this much. The turkeys are not for food anymore, they LOVE me and I love them :lol:

Ah, got a bit caught out by the reality then. Eggs and or meat are the starting points for many, pets however kept is often the end result.;)
