Yes, I knew that about the sex links. I’ll take her to a chicken vet. I live in a little town but we actually have a vet who treats chickens. She’s my favorite chicken, she’s so friendly and funny. The only one I named, her name is Ethel. thank you so much for the information.

I found this in the nesting box and it is very strange looking, and completely gross. I pulled it apart to see what was inside. Anyone have any idea what it is and why? All my chickens seem healthy and normal. Sorry about this disgusting picture, I was trying make it smaller….

yesterday She didn’t move day, didn’t eat or drink but pooped. I thought she wasn’t going to make it but this morning she got up with tail up, ate, drank, pooped, ate calcium, grit and even greeted me nicely. Hopefully she will continue to improve.

Thank you, I’m thinking that too. She’s feeling better now and wants to drink and eat the egg/ yogurt but she throws up the water. but it’s helped because she’s pooped a little and her comb has come up again. I’ll try to get an antibiotic. I’ve been massaging her crop too.

I have a 2yr old Red Hybrid type of chicken. She stopped laying a couple months ago. Her last egg was a giant egg with no yolk. She has lost a lot of weight so her breast bone is protruding otherwise. I’ve noticed her looking a bit off a few days ago, a bit scruffy but acting normally...
