    How often do you feed your chickens?

    I feed my flock of 30 3 times a day. All organic food scraps of lettuce strawberries, asparagus and various greens. Along with a small bucket of worms. It's so fun watching them chase each other like football players when one gets a big worm :)

    This is my second day with them and 2 days prior or so they just stopped laying for the season. But I'm getting eggs from them now. I sell most of my eggs from my original flock and currently dont have a incubator or how to tell if the new eggs are positive

    Have you tried looking up french drainage systems there very useful for run off and drainage. I live in oregon and it rains alot and my yard is a swamp. Currently in planning of a French drain or dry well for this summer Projects.

    Just got 4 new hens and my first real scare. Dont know whether to be concerned. She has lost alot of feathers on her butt and chest. More worried about the butt then anything. But while feeding them tonight I noticed head twitch.
