    no it won't hurt---the hen leaves the nest when she is sitting for a while to eat and drink --the eggs cool down a little bit then with no hatching issues.--

    5 pipped but no escapies. The first one still only has a hole where his beak is, no progress . its been 8 hours. is this unusual? day 21 is actually up at 7:00 this evening. should i get worried about that chick yet?

    I have 44 eggs in hatcher. tuesday evening will be 21 days, I have 3 pipped. but don't seem to be in any rush to keep going.Hang in there --and see how everything comes out.
