Is this concerning. My older children are very observant (yay!), and they noticed this between the toes of one of our hens. Thoughts? Should we do something?
We live in TN, pretty warm in summer, moderate in spring and fall, quite cold in winter.
I suppose I could wait a bit. I do have a small dog kennel to keep one in while in coop, and maybe they'd leave each other alone? I'm a newbie with chickens, so I don't know much.
We can keep one. We live out in country and they run around our yard. This Wyandotte so far is friendly and likes to sit on knees and lie down next to whoever is sitting in the grass. The CG is older, but runs all out when he hears us coming. I like them both (so far)!

Anyone know temperament of Blue Laced Red Wyandotte roo vs California Gray roo? I know we have a CG roo, and this BLRW looks like a roo but hasn't crowed. Thoughts on each breed rooster?
Several weeks ago, I posted oics of this chick, and everyone thought it was a roo, but to post a couple weeks later with more pics. The pink in its comb is the same as 2 to 3 weeks ago.

This Wyandotte chick is 6 weeks old. Any guesses on sex? Is this how a rose comb develops with the dimple at the top? The last pic is middle chick in back.
We have a 7-week-old chick who was bit by our dog. Long story short, we were putting them outside in their oen 2 weeks ago, and didn't realize our dog was out. Our communication is good now, though.
