Hello all you incubating Kings and Queens! I have been haunting this forum FOREVER in hopes of eventually hatching my own babies. Today a FINALLY ordered a incubator. I would like you all to post your tips and tricks for all us newbie "bators".
I mixed my chickens a custom blend of grains and give them 3 to 1 of it with their regular feed. That is 3 parts grower, to 1 the part custom mix. They love the mix.
I have 26 chickens, 7 different breeds, 21 weeks old, and no one is laying! There's a whole lot of chicken sex going on, so I would like to know what's taking so long on the eggs!!

These are some keets that were hatched Wednesday. Sorry about the odd color of the picture but the heat light is red. I am wondering if anyone knows what color the one in the middle will be? It has no stripping on its head or body and is a blue/gray color with a yellow belly.

Thank you Debbiesflocks for your kind response. I have read several books and I LOVE my chickens. They are treated like royalty. All the literature I have never addressed just leaving the eggs in there if they weren't broody, so thanks!
