    It looks like it is now causing a drop in egg production. The chicken who has the most red butt is no longer laying eggs. It has been over a week. Any advice? Should I put anti-fungal or hydrocortisone cream? Please help!

    Thank you for the information. We have been using pine shavings since I got them. It seems like that it would be very unlikely to cause a reaction but at this point I will try anything. Thanks again! Any other thoughts on what could be causing this?
