We have been giving her wet food- she doesn't touch it. When we reach down near her she comes over and puts her head into our hand. I've been holding her, but even than the chirping persists. She does like the companionship (she'll perch on my hand), but we are worried about the rest of the...
Help needed- we have a 1 month old chick who initially seemed lethargic, so we brought her inside & gave her electrolytes and b12 in her water. After a day she seemed perkier- but she had not stopped chirping for practically 3 days now. She's not eating (except for oranges and syringe water...
Update- it seems to be a foot problem! I've checked all the joints and her range of motion is the same on both legs. She can't curl te toes on her injured foot. It just stays flat. None of the toes look or feel broken. I've got her in a seperate space. How do you treat an injured foot??

2. You are SO correct about the "pet" issue. I've been reading online about rooster behavior- dancing, pecking, etc...
I'm new to owning chickens and could really use advice from experience flock owners.
I currently have:
3 four month old roosters
1 questionable four month old (looks like a rooster, doesn't crow, and is mounted (appropriate term?) by the other roosters. What might this suggest?
2 three...
