    Month old chick always chirping

Yes, but she's not eating solids- so I'm not sure how helpful that is in determining what's wrong.

    Month old chick always chirping

I guess it could be worms- but I don't see anything in her poo- it's pretty watery and milk chocolate in color. I'm at a loss. The poor thing

    Month old chick always chirping

We have been giving her wet food- she doesn't touch it. When we reach down near her she comes over and puts her head into our hand. I've been holding her, but even than the chirping persists. She does like the companionship (she'll perch on my hand), but we are worried about the rest of the...

    Month old chick always chirping

Help needed- we have a 1 month old chick who initially seemed lethargic, so we brought her inside & gave her electrolytes and b12 in her water. After a day she seemed perkier- but she had not stopped chirping for practically 3 days now. She's not eating (except for oranges and syringe water...

Please help- our dog got access to our new chicks and one of the survivors has an injured leg and I'm hoping to learn how to best treat it. She is 2 weeks old and has difficulty bearing weight on it. It almost seems as if it collapses beneath her when she tries to use it. She has no visible...

Help!! Trying to manage Rooster-Hen Ratio

    1. I will try to take a clear photo of my questionable roo. His tail is very perky, which leads me to believe it's a roo, but he is smaller than the others from the same batch. 2. You are SO correct about the "pet" issue. I've been reading online about rooster behavior- dancing, pecking, etc...
