    We set 24 ... my husband was the first to candle them. I later candled them around day 15 and again on day 18. I was fairly confident that 5 were developing correctly before lockdown. I was very excited when I could see veins but I will also look for movement this next time.

    Incubator was brand new ... I guess I’m not sure if they were malpositioned. I’m hoping to not have to do too many more eggtopsies but I’ll pay closer attention to that next time.

    I did an eggtopsy on 6 eggs and there are 4 that I’d like some opinions on. Can anyone tell when and/or why these chicks died? *We used a Little Giant incubator with an auto egg turner. I believe it’s the 11300 Deluxe. We had some issue the morning of day 19. There was a concern for too...
