Hi Dave! I am near Harrisonville and I dont have any of the breeds you have. I have Austrolorps, and Brahmas - Light, Buff and one dark. I also have some mixed hens from a game rooster I used to have, and now his son is the leader of the Austrolorps. They are just for eggs and fun, no show...- Joelle

week old chicks dying, white poop
Thanks Jean. I didnt give them clover to eat, just so they would have something to scratch around in. I was shocked to see it all gone! I did give them some scrambled eggs last night and they ate most of it. They chicks remaining look okay. I did get a poop sample so I am going to take it...- Joelle

This is new to me. I have lost 2 chicks and another one is lethargic and dying. It did poop in front of me and the poop is solid white. The first one died within a few days, I found one dead yesterday and now this one. I feed them medicated chick starter and I gave them some clover to peck...- Joelle

Missy3b, when I want to let them get used to each other, I put them in a small pen inside the larger yard. Leave them that way for a few weeks and then start to let them out an hour before they would go to roost. That way you can observe them and they dont have long enough to cause a...- Joelle
