    Welsh Harlequin

You can't just get one female... I mean, I guess you can, but you're going to most likely run into serious problems with the males competing for the female and mating with her so much she could get injured (I've heard stories of aggressive males drowning females). Either you need to get rid of...

    SWEDISH Duck Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you want to clip their wings? When done properly it's harmless to the bird.

    The Duck Thread

I don't think that's the beginnings of a drake feather. I've heard drake feathers come in closer to 5-6 months than 6 weeks.

You really shouldn't be feeding ducks bread, it's pretty bad for them

    Duck Houses

I would disagree with this, because I would recommend deep litter for ducks. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far the maintenance on it is so easy and simple that it makes it really worth it. One rebellious duckling in the bunch!!

At 5 weeks old I still limited my ducks' time outside to only when supervised. That way, they knew and got used to my presence around me. Ducks seem to have this "terrible teens" phase that starts at about 4-5 weeks old where they really don't want to be picked up and they really just want to...

What breed and sex do you think this duckling is?

Looks like a Welsh Harlequin or some crossbreed thereof to me

    Proud moments-foraging ducklings!

Unfortunately, I had 0 luck with my ducks and a ramp leading up to a coop-type enclosure so they could get out of the elements. I built a nice ramp that they could get up and everything, but I never was able to to get them to go up there on their own, they always ended up sleeping on the ground...
