    New chick owners - please read

    Thanks for the reminders. I got 2 new chicks today. My very first two from last year are thriving (with a couple mishaps!) but it's good to be reminded of the 'new chick stuff' again. These newbies are DAYS old= teensie! Is there such a thing as too much snuggling (so as to bond)?

    How Long Have You Been Raising Chickens? - OLD

    My next door neighbor said, "I can't be the only one in the neighborhood w/ BYC! Please take some!" So we've had 1 RIR (she has 'tude and she's laying!) and one BR (she'll catch on soon....?!) since May 7. They are a hoot!

    We're backyarders: 3 Black Barred Rocks and 1 RIR on a 100'x100' lot. Oh yeah: 1 hubby & 2 cats!
