    Can this apply for quail eggs? And also what do you mean by not always in the same direction? Does it mean like sometimes when you go from x to o alternating going from left and to right and sometimes you do it from right to left?

    Yup this are shipped eggs, it's just been slightly over 24 hours and I wanna put them in. Okay so you're suggesting add them and turn them 3 times after adding it and then go on like normal?

    Yup but the bottom is one degree higher, so which temp do I follow? My fear is if I follow the egg level temperature I'm scared if it kills the eggs as the base is a degree higher

    My temperature when measured at the bottom of my still air styrofoam incubator reads at 38.9 while at egg level it's at 37.8 which temperature reading should I follow because I'm worried it I kill the eggs.

    It's still ,its weird because during the day the difference between my oral thermometer and my cheap digital thermometer is 1c but in the night the difference of them are 0.4degrees Celsius.
