Do you need a permit to shoot and kill a red fox and a ground hog?

Lately I've been having issues with a ground hog and a fox that live near my coop. I've tried things to keep them away, such as shutting the chickens up earlier and letting them out later but they've just been coming earlier. So far they've killed seven chickens and four ducks. I actually never...

    New goat issues

Okay thanks! And I definitely wasn't planning on keeping any bucks with the others! I have been doing a lot of research on everything but I haven't really found any direct answers to my questions but that website is really helpful! Thanks again

    New goat issues

The other baby is alone, but just for now. I do have another goat, but she's around 8 or 9 and isn't the friendliest. I let them in to see each other when I'm out there but I have to keep a close eye on them because she's a lot bigger. The other baby does have a group of chickens with her to...

    New goat issues

Yesterday morning I called the vet and they told me they could take her in on the afternoon, but when I came home to take her, she had unfortunately died. I'm going to be contacting that lady because she knew she was sick, but she told me it was nothing. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice...

    New goat issues

She gave me a bottle and this power stuff to mix in with warm water and told me to give it to her for the first two days, and I did that and she was fine. I stopped and then she started to not look so well. I thought it was that, so I tried to give her a bottle this morning, but she didn't want...

    New goat issues

Five days ago, I bought two Pygmy Goats. The one is 9 weeks and the other is 7. They were perfectly fine when I brought them home, but the 7 week old had diarrhea. The lady said it was because she gave her a bath the night before and she thought it was because of the stress of it and she gave me...

    Help

The last picture is him next to one of the other babies to show his size. The first two are different angles. He is walking okay though so hopefully his missing toes won't cause any harm or pain in his future. It's the outer toe on each foot that's just gone. There are little stubs like they...

    Help

Yes, I successfully got him out of his shell, but he's really small, about half the size of the others even though he's only a day younger. Also, he's missing two toes, one on each foot. He seems to be walking okay. I'll see if I can post any pictures of his feet but I don't think it'll affect...

    Help

That's a really good point I didn't even think about. I'll go try to help him, thanks

    Help

I was thinking about doing that, but as I was reading on how to do that, it said you shouldn't do that because the baby would be too weak to survive. If he still hasn't made ant for progress in the next hour or two I guess I'll try doing that. Thanks

    Help

So, I've been hatching eggs for about 4 years and I thankfully haven't had any issues where I have to help. Recently though, I've been having quite a few but nothing too serious until today. The eggs are on day 23 and four babies have hatched so far. On day 20, four eggs pipped. Two hatched that...
