    Thank you for your wonderful, heartfelt comments. This was surely a joy to make. To my husband (Steve) you have to decide on a color and pattern.

    We are expecting our first grandaughter in late May. Her name will be Ava Mae. I wanted to make a quilt for her, I just finished it minutes ago. The backside of the quilt showing the quilting. And a shot of it full length.

    I started making this table quilt for our sons new home, but after getting started he changed his decor. We have some good friends who's home this will fit perfectly in, so I am making this as a gift to them. A close up.

    Ava's quilt is made of moda fabric, this is my first attempt at applique. I am adding on the last border now, then the top will be finished. These are the colors in Avas room. When I get this all done, I'll ask Steve to start a new thread for the finished baby quilt. Thank you all for looking.
