Woo Hoo-Miss Jayne is back!!!!

Steve-I'm no expert in concrete but don't you have to have lines cut in the cement so it doesn't crack? Thats what they did when they cemented our lean-to. Just a thought becuz you said you didn't want seams. I really have no idea.

DC Mom, yes you put in what is called a control joint, can be done several ways. Either put them in when the crete is wet, cut them in with a abrasive or diamond blade after it sets up about a day, or put in a plastic device while the crete is wet, that pulls out after it is set in place. We do that when we pour floors in garages, basements and barns....and theoretically a 10x16 would be big enough to split in half, but I wouldn't bother in this case.

I think what my best option will be is to put a wood floor down and cover it with one piece of linoleum. Lumber delivery is scheduled for tomorrow to do the framing of the walls and roof. Wish I could find that site that had the coop I'm trying to replicate, I haven't found it in all my searching.

I see my bride popped in....I told her she was being talked to. She is on the computer all day at work and trys to avoid the one here at home.

alright, Michiganders...i need some support. i have 38 eggs here. 18 coming tomorrow and another 12 or so coming by friday. (yeah, that's more than 70 eggs. i am borderline psychotic at this point i think.)

uh...anyone see the issue? more eggs than one incubator can hold. i am going to build MP's bator. could use some cheering on so i feel confident!

making a list and Rick is going to pick up the 'stuff' and i will construct on Saturday. i can do this, right?

Duly noted.

It's gonna be like anything, once it is done I will have wished I'd done something different, or made an allowance/option for something else.

The old saying "build your first house for your enemy, the second for a friend and the third will be perfect for you" don't work. I've built close to 60 homes and I'd still change this one.

Good Morning Michigan!
Temp says 13 degrees outside...not in here. Its a balmy 72 degrees and I have beans growing and flowers everywhere. Its spring!

I accidentally forgot to turn off the light in the coop last night. I feel so bad- I just now unplugged it. The girls will now only get a couple hours of dark time.

I have to go to a new doctor this morning. I fired my physician of fifteen years. We will see how it goes. I hate going to the doctor. (do we have a foot stomping smilie?) However, I will do what I have to do.

Hope you all have a great day. I have these two little chicks that hatched out this week- and they are being quiet. Because the one won't shut up all night long, I am tempted to go wake it up. You know, paybacks...lol. I won't but what a psycho little chick it is.

Fresh pot of coffee is on, anyone want a cup?
