    Nest box camera recommendations?

Could you possibly share specifically which model this is? I'm not sure I'm looking at the right thing.

    Nest box camera recommendations?

Hmmm we'd have to run an extension cord out to the coop, which isn't too far. I'm not sure our router goes that far tho. Will have to test. Are the Wyze cameras small enough to go in each nest box, or do you just have one pointed at the side of the coop that has next boxes on it?

    Nest box camera recommendations?

I'm pretty sure I've got an egg-eater in our midst. Whoever it is, is so good at it that they leave no sign other than a depression in the bedding. They don't eat the marans eggs, but seem to be eating all the other kinds. I want to stick cameras in my nest boxes so I can see who is actually...

    New Jersey

Located in Central NJ (Pennington/Hopewell/Princeton area). Willing to meet if someone's coming from a distance. Our 4-H club hatched some chickens this summer for fair, and we have a few of the roosters left. They're now 22 weeks old, and a couple are just starting to crow. They are all...

I've got an Opal Legbar pair (male and female) that's 11 weeks old that are available if anyone's interested. $50. Also an 11 week old "easter egger" (a cream legbar crossed with a bresse) pullet, $15. The male will probably be getting butchered soon if no one wants him, so if you're interested...

April 2020 Hatch-A-Long! All are welcome!

You can turn the turner off at day 14. No later than day 18. ETA: assuming chickens eggs. I didn't see what kind you said you're hatching.

April 2020 Hatch-A-Long! All are welcome!

I weigh, and I do it for the following reasons. YMMV. 1) I always have to use shipped eggs because no rooster, and found the air cells are just so wonky I couldn't always get a good sense with them, and had some bad results. Weighing takes the guesswork out and my results have gotten much...

    Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Just a quick update on the little Blue marans that looked like it wasn't going to make it: She's still kicking, at 10 days old! Besides losing some blood and having a herniated navel, and looking like she was coming down with mushy chick, she ended up with spraddle leg (someone else sat on...

    Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Only if you buy above a certain amount tho (like 20 or something). I found this one out the hard way.

Is this a surge in chicken keepers?

There's been an insane amount of people looking for already-laying hens in my area. Normally I couldn't give away a mixed-breed layer, and I was able to actually sell a few this year.

    Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Somewhere way earlier on this thread I posted the excel formula for figuring out whether they're on track or not.
