We watched our girl hurt her leg. She didn't break it, but must've sprained it. I was told put her in crate to rest her leg. Jumping off her roost would reinjure it. I did that for a week or two and then she would have none of it. She did get way better. But not back to normal. Put her back out...

We got a cuff one today and they did prescribe him some low dose meds. He has a follow up in 10 days. We just did it and its in normal range so going to be doing it in the next ten days on a schedule and compare!
Get a big, black lick bucket, at least that's what we call them..put a trellis in it and put it on your deck away from your garden. Maybe the rats won't come by them then?
Thank you for prayers. Some symptoms were very concerning.We are blessed our towns urgent care is in our actual dr office we go to and is never busy. He was only person there. His blood pressure was high, but not so bad that it is an emergency amd now he had a plan and can't ignore it. So ended...

A damp washcloth and holding her toe with pressure. It takes quite awhile. One of my hens ripped hers off. Who knows ,how I swear they want to die... that is the only way I could get it to stop, but be prepared it will take an hour and may start up again. Then you repeat the process.
