I came home today to my 2 year old hen not doing good. She has white loose poop all over her bum, rattled breathing, lethargic and her belly seems swollen. What could it be??? The picture is the best I could get.
Oh wow, we are in Georgia we rarely get below 20 degrees. This is my first winter with chickens so I'm glad I asked before I just jumped in and did it. Will they go into the coop and warm up if they are too cold? Today it was so rainy and cold and they wouldn't go into the coop and just looked...
Would I have to treat all or only her? And do I need to wrap or just let it go aannddd last question is it best to do in morning or evening or does it matter?
Full image is when I first noticed feet is today and they look completely normal... Is it normal to go back and forth like that or did I freaking out over nothing? (I know the full image is not great but she's a little skiddish and it was the best I could get at the time unfortunately)
I did a combo of both.. mixed in water at first but didn't really feel that was doing anything so I put a little on a rag and put it on her head and under her wings just didn't want it to hurt her if I did it wrong it if it would be bad for her to inhale it straight like that
May be a silly question but I've never used vet rx before and the directions are a little hard to understand. Do I have to dilute or can I put it straight on my hen? Thanks!
Can anyone tell me what in the world this could be on my 5 month old roo... I've gone back and forth between bumblefoot and some sort of an infection.. there's 2 other spots on the same foot but just look like little scabs idk if that's related... this started a little over a week ago..I'll post...
