    She is probably 1+ year. I do think she has laid in the past but we have 40 chix on the farm. We have soaked her in an epson salts bath, flushed her vent, examined internally for egg but nothing.     Hen with tail down and waddles. Thought might be egg bound but no egg felt in vent or abdomen Lethargic and vent is pulsing. Eyes bright and comb red. Pooping normally. At a loss. Any thoughts?

    Warning- not a pretty picture

    One of our older hens has a raw and swollen bottom and it feels warm to the touch. We have been washing her and treating her with hen heal (dark feathers). Her comb and eyes are not showing illness. Any thoughts of what this might be?

    One of our chickens is congested. I have read about Tylan but she is laying eggs and it warns against using it if hen is laying. Any other suggestions? Thanks for any help.
