    Has anyone ever known an owl to attack in broad daylight? I see that stinker off and on during the day.

    OMG!! What is on your pens that they got through? I have chicken wire all around including the bottom. Can they get through that?

    Have you ever known an owl to take a muscovy because my next purchase is a pair of muskovies. The breeder I'm buying from says they are more predator aware than a pekin and he has all breeds.

    So far all 8 are fine. They did NOT want to go in that pen last night so I left their food in there and will put more treats in today. My beautiful little duck's death made me very sad. I hope Mr. Owl will take up residence elsewhere.

    Well what should I be feeding them?

    I've been feeding my ducks whole corn and sometimes some sweet feed for horses. How much corn per duck? They have the run of the pond so I assume they are eating acorns from the surrounding oak trees and pond stuff.

    That's not a problem at all. My pond is only 1/2 acre so I don't need tons of ducks.
