No, usually I just give them a bowl of water in the brooder and make sure they can get out of it. Nothing special but it works for me and I haven't lost any that way.

I always dried mine off as best I could before putting them back. And they always had a heat lamp on them a well
No wonder 6to3 is not good ratio. they can even drown a duck if they all decide to try and mate her at one time.. I suggest more females, best ratio is 3 and up ducks per drake or rehome some.
