No, usually I just give them a bowl of water in the brooder and make sure they can get out of it. Nothing special but it works for me and I haven't lost any that way.

I always dried mine off afterward as best I could. Plus they had a heat lamp on them as well.

I always dried mine off as best I could before putting them back. And they always had a heat lamp on them a well

I'm nervous because the Bantam ducks are so tiny and having such a hard time getting here okay that I don't want to screw up if they do make it. I really want to use the heating pad brooder for the ducks but haven't found anyone that uses it for them as well as chicks.

No wonder 6to3 is not good ratio. they can even drown a duck if they all decide to try and mate her at one time.. I suggest more females, best ratio is 3 and up ducks per drake or rehome some. You need to give your girls some time away from the boys before they really get injured.

All those drakes could kill your females, rule of thumb is around 1 drake per 2 females. No they don't stop mating

Oh my gosh those of us who cherish our birds and could never eat one cringe at the word meaty when some describes one of their own.  Such precious lil chubby one.
