Was this vent fan worth effort?

Installed this vent fan today. Should have taken 1/2 hour. Took all afternoon. I have no explanation except had to trim out the outside hole that I couldn’t access from outside and went back and forth to miter saw 8,526 times.

Tell me it’s worth it?

Planning on getting some sort of smart plug that makes it turn on when it gets above a certain temp. Last pic shows all the ventilation in the coop.

I think it’s going to be great. It gets SO hot in there. I’ll get temps before turning it on then a while after if we ever get a hot day. (Weather been weird this summer)
