I recently built a new coop and run onto my shed. My shed has a window a/c unit. So I added a exhaust fan in the window between the shed and coop thus air conditioning my coop! I also added a barn style fan under the roof in the run as well. My girls are SUPER happy! Egg production...
He seems to only be "targeting" my buff orps. I have 4 buff orps, 6 barred rocks and 12 - 4 mo old chicks. My coop is full, so adding more hens is not an option... If I got rid of him, how well do hens accept a new roo (next spring chick)?
I have 3 and now noticed a 4th hen where her feathers are completely gone, looks plucked clean. Skin is smooth and not injured. Is this the result of on "over active" Roo? It's 100 degress here, so Im sure the extra breeze feels good. Just wondering if I should remove the Roo. Any thoughts?

I notice yesterday that one of my chickens has rust colored diareha. Not sure which one cuz they are all together. Everyone seems happy; eating, drinking, scratching around etc! I wa stinking about putting an antibiotic in their water for a couple of days. Any suggestions?
