    Well, we got 3!! One still in the incubator but think ill give up on that one tomorrow. One of the baby's has developed splayed legs so she's all splinted up. Poor little bugger!!

    Hi, I've had 3 bantam chicks hatch ( out of 4 eggs) they are 2-3 days old. They are in the brooder now. Just got home from work and one has developed splayed legs. I've followed the band aid advice and have splinted them gently together. It's keeping its balance, until one of the others knocks...

    Yes! We woke this morning to find our baby chick newly hatched! Noisy little bugger! So cute though. It was still wet so must have just hatched. Had to come to work though now. Can't wait to get home to it

    I hope so!! It hasn't made any more progress but I don't know when it pipped. Could have been any time between 8 and 5 o'clock today so I'm not too concerned. I can see movement so that can only be a good sign? Wonder when the others will start!! I have 4 all together. It's only a small incubator.

    This is only my second attempt so someone might have a better opinion. From what I've read the humidity will fly up as soon as it hatches anyway.

    Well it's early on day 18, so I've just filled the second water trough up, and gone into lockdown! Candled yesterday. They are all 'full' so to speak. Could see slight movement, but there's not much room left for them. Really exited now for hatch day! Ill be at work after today, until Friday so...
